Hi I would like to know what the other words are that are on this record please.
It is the bottom record of the marriage on the 21 October 1944 between Willem Numan (my husbands grandfather's second marriage) and Anny Maria Svardman.
On another record that I found it indicated her first name was Gully, so I am confused.
Thank you hoping someone will help me.

I couldn't make out every word, but:
First image: Numan, Willem, bakery worker, Dutch subject [...}
[f.g. might mean "first time", maybe first reading of banns]] with fruit seller
Svärdman, Anny Maria, born Karlsson, Vikingagatan 7 divorced

Second image: Notification to Statistiska Centralbyrån according to file registration.

Here's the records of their banns arrangement:
https://sok.riksarkivet.se/bildvisning/00051096_00112
(Matteus kyrkoarkiv, Lysningsböcker, SE/SSA/6024/E I a/43 (1944), bildid: 00051096_00112, sida 617)
And here I could see what I couldn't decode earlier: Willem was of Roman Catholic faith.
The bride's full name is given as Gully Anny Maria.
You also get their birth dates: Willem in Velsen, the Netherlands, 1902-05-23 and Gully Anny Maria in Maria Magdalena parish, Stockholm, 1902-07-20

So her name is Gully. Is this a normal christian name? Thank you so much for your help it has cleared up the other record I found for her listing her birth. Unfortunately no parents were listed on this.
Havent been able to find any record of their deaths. Willem Numan definitely died in Sweden 2000+. Living to a very good age. Apart  from purchasing the death database listed on this website do you know of any other free site?
Thank you so much for translation
Pam

Here's Gully (Gulli) Anny Maria's birth record (No. 534):
https://sok.riksarkivet.se/bildvisning/00014972_00241
(Maria Magdalena kyrkoarkiv, Födelse- och dopböcker, huvudserie, SE/SSA/0012/C I a/26 (1901-1902), bildid: 00014972_00241, sida 203)
Born out of wedlock, father unknown.
Mother: Beda Maria Eugenia Karlsson, unmarried, born 1874-05-27, Långholmen. Långholmen might been just an address, but the small island Långholmen was also where the prison with the same name was situated so maybe Beda Maria Eugenia was a prisoner?
Also a note: moved alone 1903-01-24 to Sala. Not entirely clear if it was the daughter or the mother that moved.
A possibility is that the daughter was placed in foster care in Sala for whatever reason - either because the mother was a prisoner or simply because being a single mother in 1902 was difficult and almost impossible if you had to work.

According to the the Swedish Institute for Language and Folklore, Gully or Gulli has been used as a nickname for Gunhild and Gunilla. Most common (but not necessarily common) as a given name in 1885-89, 1910-19 (1910-29).

Yes, I suspect that one reason for the nickname was that there's a Swedish word "gullig" (from guld/gold), meaning "cute". Choosing "Gully" as the name for your cute newborn child makes sense.

Another fragment: I couldn't find Gully Anny Maria moving from Maria Magdalena parish in the 1903 records, but I found her mother (No. 48):
https://sok.riksarkivet.se/bildvisning/00014752_00101
(Maria Magdalena kyrkoarkiv, Inflyttningslängder och diarier över inkomna personakter, SE/SSA/0012/B I/70 (1902), bildid: 00014752_00101, sida 105)
She was born in Ovansjö parish, Gävleborg county, 1874-05-27. Moved to Maria Magdalena parish 1902-01-20 from Adolf Fredrik parish, Stockholm, and from there to Kungsholms parish, Stockholm 1903-01-14.

Her birth record:
https://sok.riksarkivet.se/bildvisning/A0014493_00014
(Ovansjö kyrkoarkiv, Födelse- och dopböcker, SE/HLA/1010151/C/9 (1874-1880), bildid: A0014493_00014)
Her parents were railway worker Börje Karlsson and his wife Johanna Apelquist from Sala.

The town Sala reappears - a possibility is that Gully Anny Maria went to live with her grandparents, a common solution for single mothers having to support themselves through work.

Here's a great resource for tracking people in Stockholm 1878-1926:
https://sok.stadsarkivet.stockholm.se/Rotemannen2012/Search.aspx

There you can find Beda Maria Eugenia 1897-1904. Coincidence: 1897-99 she is a bakery worker, just as Willem was in 1944.

Later on she must have moved to Solna parish and married Oskar Edvard Nilsson, as stated in the census record you found - and Gully Anny Maria could return to her mother.

Thanks for the offer, but my only link to Australia is that a cousin on my mother's side lived there for a few years back in the 60's.

Beda Maria Eugenias parents in Sala:
https://sok.riksarkivet.se/bildvisning/00182453_00151
(Sala stadsförsamlings kyrkoarkiv, Församlingsböcker. Bunden serie, SE/ULA/11305/A II a/2 (1897-1908), bildid: 00182453_00151, sida 548)
Börje Karlsson, brewery worker, born 1840-04-12 in Seglora parish, Älvsborg county, died 1905-01-31. Married in 1873 with Johanna Maria Appelqvist, born 1849-06-08 in Sala.
At least six childrens beside Beda Maria Eugenia, whose daughter is registered as living with her grandparents.

Not much else to do right now due to covid-19 restrictions, so I'm happy to help! Also, I'm learning a lot about records that might help myself in the future.

Johanna Maria was daughter of the mine worker Lars Erik Apelqvist and his wife Greta Jansdotter.
https://sok.riksarkivet.se/bildvisning/C0020207_00258
(Sala stadsförsamlings kyrkoarkiv, Födelse- och dopböcker, SE/ULA/11305/C/3 (1826-1860), bildid: C0020207_00258)

Most probably Lars Erik worked in the Sala silver mine ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sala_Silver_Mine ).

Lars Erik was born in Sala 1820-06-13 and Greta in Kila parish 1814-07-10. They had at least five children, born 1843-1854.

Börje (Börge) Karlsson was born out of wedlock in Nybygget, Eskilsred, Seglora 1840-04-12. His mother was the widow Anna Börgesdotter. That he got the surname Karlsson suggests that his father was named Karl. He could have died, moved, or simply refused to acknowledge the child.

Anna was born 1795-05-26. She had two children in her marriage and two born out of wedlock.

Nils parents were Erik Nilsson and Brita Andersdotter.

I haven't been able to find Berta Gunnesdottter's birth record. Even if she moved from Hyssna to Seglora, she might have been born somewhere else.
