Peter Petersson in Torsås

I am working on my family tree and running into some difficulties. I would greatly appreciate some help as I don’t know where to look next.
I am trying to find the parents of Peter Petersson born July 1, 1817 in Torsås. I found him in the Torsås household examination book (1842-1853) in households #228 and #319 in Tuthults (Stufvehyltan). He married Maria Andersdotter on December 20, 1842.
I have looked in the Torsås birth records and have literally looked through all the household examination records from 1816-1853 but can’t find him listed with his parents. Of course, I could have missed him as some of those pages are difficult to read. I have found a lot of information on him once he married Maria.

Quite difficult to follow, but I think that he was born 1817-09-01 in Torsås (H) CI:6 (1809-1821) Bild 129 / sid 253 (AID: v41149.b129.s253, NAD: SE/VALA/00385). He is found (several times) in Torsås (H) AI:14 (1832-1842) Bild 150 / sid 143 (AID: v24166.b150.s143, NAD: SE/VALA/00385), but after his moves to and from page 53 in the same volume, his birthdate is changed from 1/9 to 1/7. I'm quite sure that is right, but you of course has to follow him all the way to find out if it is correct. I found Peter with his mother in Torsås (H) AI:11 (1816-1823) Bild 61 / sid 56 (AID: v24163.b61.s56, NAD: SE/VALA/00385).

The birth register has him as born out of wedlock to Cajsa Persdotter with a note that his father was given as the district glazier Peter Bergholtz, Vissefjärda parish.

He's in Torsås AI/13 p. 82 as the son of deceased Cajsa Persdotter.

Peter was born in Gullaboås, Torsås 1817-09-01.

Thank you so very much. I would have never found this without your help. I spent two entire days looking through those household examination books but was had the incorrect birthdate, plus those books are difficult to read.
