I am trying to find more information on Johannes Bomqvist who lived in Marbäck between 1717 and 1725, married Kerstin Larsdotter there 1717(C:1,Bild 203,Sida385). They had three children: Sven, 1718(C:1,Bild 112,Sida 203)(no place listed); Maria, 1721(C:1,Bild 117,Sida 212) at Måstugan; Nines, 1725(C:2,Bild 35,p.73top) at Måstugan.
I was only recently able to find him in the Centralsoldatregistret which has very little information about him. I was not able to find him in the Generalmönsterrullor under the name Bomkvist and the numbers in the company don't go up to 169 (Aktnummer:JR-00-0169-0000). The Registry does give Rote: Bommeryd/Und. Vrangsjö No. 31. Is that number 31 the soldier's number instead of the 169? I did find a Johan Svensson, No.31, at Bommeryd in 1719 and 1721. That position became vacant in 1726. I didn't find a death record for Johan at that time and moving out records apparently don't exist for that period.
In the ML I didn't find a Soldat Johan's h. at Måstugan when his children were being born, but did find a sold. Jans h. at Bommeryd in 1721 and 1725 and a (?) Sold Johs. h. there in 1719.
If anyone can sort out the military records, direct me to his record, and also tell me where and when Johan was born and died, I would be very grateful. Thank you in advance for any help.
