G. Lewis Hanson, 75, of 6566 Hiawatha av., a retired architect, died yesterday in Swedish Covenant hospital. As an employe of Charles F. Murphy and Associates and its predecessor firms, Mr. Hanson assisted in planning the Prudential building, Shedd aquarium, Civic Opera House, and Merchandise Mart. He is survived by his widow, Lillie; a brother, Harvey; and a sister, Mrs. Florence Monsen. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in Edgebrook Covenant church, 6355 Spokane av.

Services for the Rev. Rudolph C. Hvass, 68, of 4604 Sunnyside av., Woodstock, will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow in the Edgebrook Evangelical Covenant church, 6355 N. Spokane av. The Rev. Mr. Hvass died Friday in his home. He retired 15 years ago after 31 years with the Evangelical Covenant Church of America, serving as pastor of churches in Nebraska, Iowa, Wisconsin, and New York. Surviving are his widow, Effie; and three sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Smith and Dagmar and Alfhild Hvass.
