Can someone help?  This is all we know.  Erik Persson b. 28 Mar 1828 Medskogen, Sodra Finnskoga, wife Wihelmina b. 15 Jan 1833 Sweden, no place name given. They came to U.S c. 1890.
They had two sons: John Erikson b. 13 Feb 1856 either Dalb7 or Sodra Finnskoga and Julius Erikson born unknown, died unknown. Julius and John came in 1880 to U.S. Julius and his wife died young.  Their two children were raised by family members and my cousin Jordan and I would like a birth date for Julius but we do not know where to look.  Do we check the Finnish records in Torsby or somewhere else?  Thank you Judith Jones

I have not found place of birth for Wilhelmina Danielsdotter, however the children seems to have been born in Tyngsjö, if you trust emigration records. However, as EMIBAS is based on clerical surveys and moving outs ,I suggest you check book of births in Tyngsjö first place. After that marriage record for parents can give a tip re. place of birth for Wilhelmina. Of course, only a matter of time is, to browse clerical surveys backwards to find out more. Regret I can't spend more time on this today.

Other helpers maybe can interpret the place Wilhelmina came from when she arrived in Gökberg, Tyngsjö, in 1853.  GID 147.4.65000,  [Kopparberg]  Tyngsjö,  AI.1, Husförhör, 1855 - 1864, 104-0,  Bild 119 av 132   refers.
May add that Erik Persson´s parents listed the page mentioned, 104.

Thank you all so much.  We got the information on Erik and his wife off their tombstone/grave marker.  They are buried in the family cemetery.  I have my great grandfathers' death certificate and that is where I got the information on him.  Both Erik and his wife died before death certificates were required.
I have a newspaper obituary which says Julius died in Duluth, Minnesota, but neither Jordan or I have ever been able to get a death certificate for him.  Jordans' grandmother was raised by the Olsons in Milner and his great uncle Walter was raised by my great grandfather.  Jordan has no idea where they are buried and none of my cousins in Duluth could find a burial for them either.  So we are very very grateful for the help you have given us.  Judith Jones and Jordan Thompson
