Lillian Elfrieda Hansen born near Oslo circa 1895

Hello,
 
I am trying to help a friend find a record of her mothers birth.  We are looking for Lillian Elfrieda Hansen who came from in or around Oslo born on September 7.  Lillian died in the USA in 1966 at the age of 70 or 71.  She came to Lynn, Massachusetts, USA when she was 15 to 17 years old to visit her eldest brother, Alfred, and stayed in the USA.  A family photo with her parents in Norway or Sweden shows that she had at least one sister and three brothers.  Lillian married Olaf Anderssen in the USA prior to 1950.  None of the spelling is necessarily accurate.  Can anyone direct me to the appropriate forum to seek help?

The Ellis Island database lists 4 Olaf Andersen/Andersons immigrating from Norway--2 in 1910 and 2 in 1912.  There are several possibilities for Alfred Hansen.  I did not find a Lillian Hansen immigrating in 1913.  If you wish, you may take a look at www.ellisisland.org.  There is no fee for searching the database.

Lilly Elfrida Hansen b. September 7, 1895, occupation ironing-woman, left Kristiania (Oslo) March 14, 1913 with a ship of Victor Raffel Line (ship's name not noted). Her address in Oslo was Jens Bjelkesgaden 78 V. Her destination was Boston (going to a relative), she travelled alone.

Lilly E Hansen's arrival at Boston 1913 found at Ancestry.com (via www.stevemorse.org) - unfortunately I don't have access to the passenger list. Maybe someone else?

She arrived March 28 1913 on the s/s Ivernia. She is going to Lynn, MA. Her occupation is knitter.
Her nearest relative in Norway is mother Marie Hansen, Jens Bjelkes Gade 78, Christiania (Oslo). She has paid her ticket herself and is Going to brother Alfred Hansen, she is 5 ft tall, fair complexion, dark hair and blue eyes.

Östre Aker church records apparently are not yet available on-line. To find Marie you have to know her maiden name or more about her origins. Once the church records are found, the marriage notice can tell you more about her. The mormon church research centers may well have microfilms fomr the Norwegian parishes, they seem to live in Östre Aker when they are first married so I would look there for the marriage notice. Does that indicate which set of parish books I should search to find her birth/baptismal record or are there multiple parishes for Kristiania for that time period?  Since Maud provided a street address above, does this narrow down the possibilities?  I understand the organization of Stockholm church records, but just learning about Oslo.

There are multiple parishes and I am not sure which is which. The address should give the parish for anyone who knows. The same for a marriage record - you can always try Domkirken (Cathedral) which is the central parish. Hopefully our Norwegian colleagues may know more about this.

Line 334 in Kampen parish.  
 
It says:  
 
Lilly Elfrida Hansen born September 7th 1895, baptised November 3rd 1895.  
Confirmation: October 2nd 1910  
Parents: Lauritz Hansen and Marie Nilsen (her maiden-name)  
They still lived at Jens Bjelkesgate 78 in 1910.  
 
You will find her birth-record in Kampen parish as well, but this churchrecord is not online yet.  
 
Does anyone have access to birth records 1895 in Kampen parish Kristiania - Oslo?
