I was searching for the father of an illegitimate child.
The father could be anyone, but I chose to follow the farm-hands? (drängar) who worked at the same farm as the mother when she got pregnant. She was working as a maid (piga) .
The Petersson brothers were both working at the farm during the time.
Sometimes you can find the connection between a biological father and an illegitimate child
in the inventory? (bouppteckning) after the father. The child could be mentioned as a heir. That is why I wanted to know when they died.
After a while I found the Petersson brothers in a bouppteckningregister at Landsarkivet in Göteborg. But my child were not mentioned in their inventories(?).

Pigan Johanna Augusta Larsdotter, who was working at the same farm, had an illegimitate child. She raised an objecton against his marriage (to another woman). He might have been the father of her child. (It was not that child?s father I was looking for.)
