Ståhl, Axel - Swedish relatives

I am looking for living relatives in Sweden.  This is what I know:  My grandfather Axel Ståhl was born 6 english miles outside of Helsingborg April 23, 1894. He came to the US in 1914, he was 20 years old.  His mother and father are Karl Erik Ståhl and Ida Carolyn Smith Ståhl.  They were share croppers.  His brothers: Nils Sture Ståhl (passed away September 1978), Knute Harold Ståhl and Karl Erik Ståhl.  His Sisters: Theresa Sanessan and Anna Hågg.  Anna wrote for many years from the address 26034 Morap until 1978, then the letters say Anna Hågg Glebersvåg II at 26033 Påarp.  The last letter I have is from December 1980.  There is one letter from Theresa, December 1974 from Traugalau 6 26139 Laucshaua (I'm not sure this spelling is exactly correct).  Any help I can get will be appreciated extremely!  I would love to find a grandchild of one of my grandfather's siblings.

There is one labourer Axel Ståhl,age 19, in 1913.He came from Kropp and was born in Mörarp,if my eyes do not deceive me..
His father's name,Carl Ståhl.

Nils Sture Ståhl born 7.6.1900 in Kropp, Skåne län was married 26/12 1924. He died 4.9.1978 in Filborna, Helsingborg.
 
Knut Harald Ståhl born 23.10.1908 in Kropp, Skåne län. Married 12.6.1943 and died 2.2.1998 in Maria Helsingborg.
 
Karl Erik Ståhl born 10.12.1906 in Kropp, Skåne län. Married 13.10.1934 and died 14.1.1988 in Filborna, Helsingborg  
Anna Hägg born 24.10.1904 in Kropp, Skåne län. widow  16.8.1977 and died 29.6.1988 She lived at Glebers v 11 when she died.
 
I could not find anything about Theresa.

Hi! I beg to disagree with Lena, Anna Hägg was born on 24.10 1902 and in Välluv, not Kropp. There are a few Teresia born in the same time frame in Välluv, and one Therese Sonesson born in Kropp on 18 September 1898, widowed 21.4.1983 and died in Landskrona on 21.5.1995 (street adress Fröjdenborgsgatan).
 
The mother's name Carolyn is anglized, probably Karolina or something similar, spelling C or K and e or a at the end.
 
The source we both use is a cd called Sveriges dödbok (the Swedish Deathbook) 1950-1999, from The Federation of Swedish Genealogical Societies.
 
The towns (villages) Kropp and Välluv (as well as Mörarp which Karin mentions) are situated close to Helsingborg and Maria is one of the city parishes in Helsingborg, Filborna is also a part of Helsingborg.
 
You may check names and addresses for the families of the siblings through their estate inventories (bouppteckning in singularis in Swedish) made after their deaths. These are as of July 1, 2001, kept at (or in transfer) the Regional Archives, in this case in Lund, at landsarkivet@landsarkivet-lund.ra.se .

Svensson, Ester Teresia Gunhild, born 1907 march 31, in Kropp, dead 1975 august 8, in Landskrona.
Last known address:
Malmg 4
261 51  Landskrona
married 1932 dec 2.
 
Traugalau 6 26139 Laucshaua is most probably a misreading of Tränggatan 6, 26139 Landskrona

Kristin, as we now have multiple possibilities for the last sister, I suggest you check with the parish (they will also be able to give you the names of their parents and when they died) at kropps.pastorat@svenskakyrkan.se (I hope it's correct, their website was down).
 
I was going to say in my other comment that all the places now are in Skåne län (Skåne is also the name of the province) but before 1997 that part was Malmöhus län.

Hi again, I made one mistake regarding Anna, she was born in Kropp just like the others, not Välluv - that's the parish where Påarp is situated. But the year is 1902 as I said. Morap as you write as her previous address should be Mörarp.
 
On the online database Demographic Database Southern Sweden (www.ddss.nu) I found your grandfather's birth record, Axel born in Mörarp on April 24, 1894. Father worker Karl Andersson Ståhl and mother Ida Karolina Nilsson (I forgot to say that Smith is an unusal name in Sweden, but it does exist), sponsors Hustru (Mrs.) Johanna Larsson, Kropp, Arb. (worker) Emil Smits, Björka, Piga (maid - working unmarried woman, often on a farm) Albertina Andersson, Hjortshög. The mother was 20 years old.
