I try to find a woman, who emigrated from Norway to North America in 1882. Her name was Ingeborg Eriksdatter Ringsby and she was born the 21 of december 1862.
The information I have is this:
When she came to America she married a man from Sweden. His name was Anders Nilsson. He came from Jernskog in Vermland. I don?t know when he was born.
They got 9 children and they lived in a place called Wallace, Michigan.
This is all I know about them. Can anyone help me to find more information about this family and it?s offsprings ?

Thank you

Maria Nilsson

Hi Maria,
I checked Swenson records for Wallace, Michigan.  Wallace had a swedish covenant church and a lutheran church in those days but nobody by the name of Anders Nilsson or Ingeborg Eriksdatter Ringsby was listed on the member rolls of either church.  Perhaps they had a post office address as Wallace but lived closer to another swedish church?  Wallace was on the railway line so possible for them to have traveled south to the chief town, Menominee.
